The Event
Garden party for opening of a conference for corporate client, for in excess of 500 delegates, in Portman Square, London.
Their needs
To design and deliver an environment for all 500 guests, with food stations, reception marquee and soft seating area. Notwithstanding that, due to the location of the site, in central London, restrictions and build times were tight with a number of constraints surrounding the build and de-rig.
The Solution
Due to the relaxed tone of the event, our team suggested using a number of marquees to maximise the use of the garden and enhance the feel of the event. In addition we also used a range of atmospheric lighting throughout the marquees from flambeaux’s, birdcage chandeliers to LED battens.
The final layout comprised of a reception marquee, main marquee with soft seating and bar, with a central area surrounded with a number of Chinese hats used as food stations providing a variety of fabulous food and a small marquee for a band and speeches.
JF & Trafalgar Marquees also looked after the supply of a number of services such as providing luxury loos, provision of power and distribution for the event, ensuring the evening was a success.
