Restrictions for Marquees Lifted

Restrictions for outdoor hospitality eased significantly on the 12th of April – among these affected positively were pubs, restaurants and cafes, where the use of their outdoor area could be opened up (finally!). In order for this to take place, the government allowed for these premises to set up outdoor areas which includes the use of marquees as coverage, without requiring planning permission from the government.

This is a huge win for the hospitality sector and if you’re looking for a marquee to open up an outdoor area of your venue, private event (Covid-19 permitted), then please look no further and we would be happy to discuss further.

A letter from the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government Robert Jenrick with more details on how to put these measures into place safely can be found at gov.uk.
